An evening of Gershwin piano music A graduate of The Juilliard School, Pandolfi earned both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees as a scholarship student. 

American pianist Thomas Pandolfi is emerging as a prodigious virtuoso who excels in reviving the core repertoire from the golden age of pianism. Praised for his interesting and innovative programming, his recitals regularly include works by Busoni, Godowsky, Dohnanyi and Chasins, and his orchestral appearances often feature concerti by Paderewski, MacDowell, Moszkowski and Anton Rubinstein.

The U.C. Master Gardeners of Amador County are conducting the Sierra Nevada Yard and Garden Program through support from the Sierra Nevada Alliance to conduct home evaluations for local residents for the purpose of making recommendations on soil, water and vegetation conservation in the home landscape. The home consultations will be conducted upon invitation from the homeowner, and is free. The consultation will make recommendations about appropriate plants in the landscape, water and soil conservation in the yard, defensible space for protection against wildfire, and enhancement of habitat for desirable wildlife. The kickoff event is an informational event for those homeowners interested in possibly receiving a home consultation. Come join us to learn more about this exciting program that benefits our Sierra Nevada Watersheds.

And now, with his latest release, “Thirteen” he makes an exponential leap into the wide-open spaces inhabited by such personal heroes as Ry Cooder, the Band, Creedence, Petty, and Waits.

Kennedy Mine Disc Golf Fall Classic Tournament - Kennedy Mine Disc Golf Application
Program will run on November 15th and 16th at the Kennedy Mine grounds in Amador County. On November 15th tournament layout is as follows: Player registration at 7:00 am, player meeting at 8:30 am and tee off at 9 am. Players need to fill out the player application form along with a release wavier. The Kennedy Mine Disc Golf Fall Classic is a two-day tournament of four rounds on an 18 hole course. Participation is open to both men and women of all ages.

JACKSON JR. HIGH ANNUAL PRIME RIB DINNER & GIFT BASKET AUCTION – Saturday, November 15 at the Jackson City Hall, 33 Broadway, Jackson. Doors open at 5PM for appetizers and a no-host wine and beer bar. Dinner will be served at 6:00 pm. Tickets are $30.00, and are available at the school office (223-1141) or from teachers. All proceeds go to keeping the JJHS library open during school hours. Donations are welcome. Come join the fun!
